Pacific economies boosted by tourism as arrivals surge

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has noted a rise in tourism is helping to drive economic growth in the Pacific. Several countries, including Fiji and the Cook Islands, are seeing increased tourist arrivals, which is providing a much-needed boost to their economies. However, the ADB has warned that this growth could be vulnerable to external shocks, especially in the context of ongoing global uncertainties.
