The World Health Organisation has increased its presence in Ukraine and countries who are hosting displaced Ukrainians, as health needs continue to escalate as the war in Ukraine prolongs. It is noted that the most common healthcare request is for treatment for psychological harm and distress. The WHO has launched an updated appeal for $147.5 million to support the immediate delivery of healthcare and the resilience of the healthcare system long-term.
