Adolescent clubs and youth groups are bridging the gap in education for Rohingya refugees living in refugee camps after fleeing from conflict in Myanmar. With over fifty percent of Rohingya refugees being youth, the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, UNICEF and partners have begun to integrate a formal learning program via youth groups to cater to the educational needs of children in camps. The programs run by youth groups include knowledge on menstrual and reproductive health as well as what to do when facing gender-based violence.
