Even prior to Covid, priority was increasingly being given to anticipating changes in the future of work. Since then, pandemic-driven change in work models has expanded the range of challenges and opportunities. We have proven we can dramatically change how we work and lead.

About the workshop
This facilitated session on Leading through uncertainty will enable exploration and discussion of workplace-based trends, as experienced by CID Members.
We will explore emerging workplace insights and learnings. Together we will look at how New Zealand and Australian NGOs are adjusting to the evolving world of work. How we are navigating strategy in an era of uncertainty, hybrid-work models, and prioritising and addressing workforce welfare and challenges. We will explore the changing demands on leaders and leadership.

- Work Type: The kind of work do we do and new ways of working
- Workforce: The kind of workforce we need, and attracting and retaining the people and skills to get the job done
- Workplaces: How workplaces enable our people through our physical and digital spaces, resources, and ways of working

This workshop is targeted at sector leaders: heads of agencies, leadership team members, and other senior leaders.
Facilitator
Discussions will be facilitated by Julianne Rose, Director of The Social Economy Group, an Australian-based consultancy specialising in strategy, governance, and organisational development with NGOs and non-profits.
Julianne was previously an executive with World Vision Australia, establishing and growing their Government & Multilaterals segment. She is a Non Executive Director of Baptcare, a major provider of services for people who are ageing, families, people with disabilities, and refugees and asylum seekers.
She is additionally a Principal Advisor with Proof of Character, a psychology-based practice assisting workplaces in staff wellbeing, addressing psychosocial hazards, and preventing and managing mental injuries. Originally from Tāmaki Makaurau, Julianne is now based in Naarm (Melbourne), on lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin nation.
